Here are some tips for caring for your wooden spoon and/or board:
- Hand wash only.
- Wash before first use. Avoid using over extremely high heat. Avoid soaking in water.
- After every 2nd or 3rd wash, rub with coconut oil or mineral oil.
- If you notice some white residue, it is cooled coconut oil. Simply rub it into the wood.
- For cutting boards, use the plain side for cutting to prevent staining.
- If staining occurs rub with baking soda.
